Cheryl has been working in the social services profession for more than 20 years in a multitude of settings, and with diverse populations.
Her experience includes crisis response, crisis intervention training, leadership, case management, workshop facilitation related to mental health training and suicide intervention, community outreach.
Cheryl has worked with multiple employers, health care professionals, clinicians, emergency service personnel, treatment facilities, volunteers, and a number of community based organizations. She has delivered several hundred presentations in the community and delivered training to more than 1,000 individuals for crisis response, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA.)

Having a wealth of experience in the mental health field, varied aspects of social services, and working with individuals of all ages, she brings examples of her own interactions and outcomes to the training workshops.
