What’s Up With Me?! May 28 @ 11am EST

What Our Emotions at Work Are Trying to Tell Us

Live on Zoom – May 28th from 11-12:30pm EST

Ever found yourself emotionally overwhelmed at work and thought, “What’s going on with me?” This session is designed to help you answer that question with compassion, clarity, and curiosity. In fast-paced, high-pressure environments, our emotional reactions can catch us off guard—leading to miscommunication, burnout, or regret. But beneath every strong emotion is valuable information about what truly matters to us.

In this session, we’ll explore how to differentiate between external triggers and the deeper, internal causes of our reactions—our unmet needs. You’ll learn to identify common emotional patterns that show up in the workplace and begin decoding them using a simple, accessible framework grounded in feelings and needs-based communication. Through guided self-reflection and practice, you’ll start shifting from reactivity to self-awareness, developing tools to respond with greater intention and integrity. What’s Up With Me? is a powerful first step toward emotional intelligence that doesn’t bypass the hard stuff—it welcomes it with care.

Participants will leave this session with:

  • An understanding of the difference between what sets us off and the underlying causes
  • An awareness of common emotional reactions at work and how to decode what they’re pointing to
  • Strategies to build self-awareness and identify causes of emotions at work (and elsewhere!)
