Frequently Asked Questions

Who are your experts?

All of our experts have been vetted using our 7-point criteria that was developed by one of our founders. All of their information and insight is science- and evidence-based and is backed up by current research. They’re all experienced in working with audiences of various sizes and ages.

How does the Q&A portion work?

Participants will be able to ask questions in the chat during presentations, or during interactive segments (dependent on audience size). To protect privacy, we can also collect questions anonymously ahead of the session, or participants can send them privately to the moderator (when hosted on The Expert Talk’s platform) during the live session.

Can I get a recording of our live virtual session?

Recordings of live sessions are provided or permitted under limited circumstances. If you would like a recording of a session, please discuss with your The Expert Talk contact.

How are virtual sessions managed?

You’re welcome to host the session on your own platform, or The Expert Talk can host on our zoom account. Events hosted by The Expert Talk will come with a moderator who will work in the background to help with any tech issues and to monitor the chat for questions for the expert.

Can a session be done in-person?

Absolutely! In-person sessions are available, though our experts are spread across Canada and the USA. Applicable travel costs will be invoiced separately ahead of your event.

What age groups do you support?

Our focus is on supporting tweens and teens, and the adults in their lives.  However, some content can be adapted to younger audiences, so don’t hesitate to ask so we can do our best to support you!
